ABOUT BAFFIN NAVIGATION

Baffin Navigation Company is a private consulting company offering consulting in the areas of Oil & Gas Land, Acquisition and Divestiture, auditing, and corporate risk analysis.  Since 1992 our fully accredited team of consultants has focused this work in the Calgary area.

In 1992, Baffin Navigation was founded on the principle of the King Spoke—the single handle on a ship’s wheel that, when held upright, signals the rudder is perfectly centered. For a helmsman navigating through the fog or the dark, that spoke is the only way to know the ship is on a true course.

 

Our name finds its roots in the high Arctic. While trekking across Baffin Island, beneath the daunting shadows of Mount Overlord and the sheer face of Thor, our founders realized that in the vast 'white-out' of corporate risk and land acquisition, businesses need a singular point of calibration.

 

Just as that red-marked spoke on our logo represents the point of stability for a vessel at sea, Baffin Navigation serves as the King Spoke for Calgary’s energy sector. We provide the alignment and auditing precision required to navigate the most complex landscapes with absolute certainty.
